Story of Kunning Palace FMV ► Jiang Xuening & Xie Wei (Their Story)

Bai Lu and Zhang Linghe delivered great performances in this political costume drama. I find this to be one of the best costume drama this year. The character growth of each character is beautifully shown here. The story and chemistry between the main leads were great. You can feel the tension between them. It took awhile for the main leads to get together, but once they do it’s EXPLOSIVE! I enjoyed Zhang Linghe in this dark character role and wouldn’t mind seeing him in similar grey roles in the future. ❤️

Some things to take notice of in this video:
1. I change their translation of his dementia to “Split Soul Disease”. I didn’t like the translation “dementia” since it has a different meaning to me.
2. I included the stories of the second male leads since I feel that their stories built the foundations for our main leads.
