Brother Donnie shares the life story of Tommy Hicks, a missionary in 1952 who heeded the call of God to take the gospel to Argentina. He braved going before the great dictator, President Perón, grandly requesting the largest stadium for his revivals, along with media coverage of the 52-day event. It is estimated, that in all, over two million souls heard and witnessed his messages to come to Christ and be saved, as well as many were healed. God is calling us to an obedience that can only be achieved when we anchor our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross. The Holy Spirit will then lead and guide us into all Godliness and transform us into the image of Christ. If we try any other way, we will find our willpower is no match against the powers of darkness. Salvation is God’s greatest gift to the world, and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is His greatest gift to the church.
