Wisconsin Garden Tour: harvesting our own food in July | Nora's Ark

Описание к видео Wisconsin Garden Tour: harvesting our own food in July | Nora's Ark

It's July in Wisconsin and we are harvesting an abundance of food from our garden. We garden in southern Wisconsin in zone 5A and our garden is about 1,000 sq. ft. We live on less than one acre and we try to grow all of our own food so we can be as self-sufficient as possible.

In this garden tour, we focus on how much food we're harvesting and what we're doing with it. This is the time of the year when the garden tells us what to eat: our garden is our grocery store!

We are harvesting raspberries, blackberries, zucchini, yellow crookneck squash, beets, radishes, kale, swiss chard, basil, and cucumbers. It's possible to feed your family from your own garden no matter how much space you have.
