This Bangalore Home is an Ode to Traditional Arts and Crafts (Home Tour).

Nestled in a quaint neighborhood of Bengaluru is a home where traditional art is an icebreaker for any conversation. This 3500 sq ft. three-story house is adorned with vintage arts and crafts and is an ode to sustainability. The art wraps around the stories of the users it hosts, from Chettinad doors, athangudi tiles, A serene Guruvayur painting of Ganesha, and Chennapatnam toys adding warmth to this humble abode where a couple happily spends their retirement life.

This film takes you inside Kaivinai where kai means ‘Hand’ and vinai means ‘crafted’ (Handcrafted) where architect explains the art of sustainability. Kaivinai reflects the clients’ and their love for arts and tradition wrapped around the walls and niches of the space.
