Cleveland weather: Rain in the forecast for this weekend in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

We turn slightly cooler tomorrow as a weak front settles south of us. Winds will be off the lake, so we'll have cooler temps near the lakeshore -- otherwise the rest of us will get into the mid 70s for highs with sunshine and a few clouds.

Our next storm system approaches from the west on Friday with increasing clouds and storm chances later in the day. This frontal boundary will stall over the Ohio Valley -- and with various waves of low pressure heading up and along this frontal boundary, we'll have daily storm chances Saturday through much of next week. Humidity will be with us as well beginning late Friday through next week. It will certainly feel like summer.

THURSDAY: Mainly sunny and pleasant. Highs in the 70s but cooler near the lake.

FRIDAY: Sun with increasing clouds. Storm chances later in the day. Warm and breezy. Mid 80s.
