Elise is the embodiment of a typical teenager - she loves dogs, shopping, and traveling. She’s also Malaysian born and a former figure skater, but above all, she’s a human being. After losing somebody close to her, she wants to address something that every human will experience - grief and heartbreak - and tell others what we can do when bad things happen. Elise Nguyen is a senior at Los Altos High School. She’s the embodiment of a typical teenager - she loves dogs, shopping, and traveling. She hates homework and waking up early. She’s also Malaysian born, a former figure skater, a daydreamer, and a 17-year-old girl, but above all, she’s a human being. After losing somebody close to her, she wants to reach out to her community and address something that every human will experience - grief and heartbreak - and tell others what we can do for ourselves and for others when bad things happen.
