Big BRIGHT Early April Willamette River Spring CHINOOK Salmon Fishing // Head Of Multnomah Channel

In this video we hit the the head of the multnomah channel on the Willamette river in search of spring chinook. It’s still early in the spring chinook salmon run and there has been some salmon hooked but not many . This was our first trip on the Willamette river this spring salmon season. We were using fish flash and cut plug herring in search of these spring chinook. We almost had a double but both fish came unbuttoned unfortunately. We did manage to land one hatchery spring chinook that weighed 15lbs. It was a beautiful sunny day in the Pacific Northwest . The spring chinook salmon fishing will only get better from here on out.
