LIVE: How to Overclock AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT, Infinity Fabric, & Memory (Basics)

This is our process to AMD Ryzen CPU overclocking with water cooling (ft. AMD R5 3600 XT). We're not leading experts, but we do have a lot of experience with AMD Ryzen core, infinity fabric, and memory overclocking.

This isn't intended to be a fully structured guide and walkthrough with every single detail of overclocking, but after all our liquid nitrogen overclocking streams with Ryzen, we thought we'd show you how we do initial pre-testing and determination of a final 24/7 overclock for our AMD Ryzen CPUs. This includes some basics of voltages (vcore, VDDG, VSOC), Infinity Fabric, memory overclocking, and core multiplier settings. We're going to bring it up to at least 4.6GHz all-core on the AMD R5 3600XT (a lot of 3600 CPUs will do 4.3GHz to 4.4GHz, XT often does higher). We'll also bring down voltage as low as we can, explain stability testing applications, and show Tdie and temperature measurements.

Test bench setup is below. Please note that MANY OF THESE PARTS are way overkill; that's because we use the same high-end parts for most our streams, with the goal being stability in the stream (we trust them/know they work well). It doesn't mean we think you should build a computer around this list. If you wanted references to high-end OC parts, though, this list helps:
