FOX 17 News has been looking into whether America's most notorious skyjacker is a retired Army major from Nashville. Our latest reporting reveals new clues and the incredible odds Cooper could be anyone else.

The D.B. Cooper case is only skyjacking in American history the Federal Bureau of Investigation couldn't solve. In November 1971, a man who calls himself Dan Cooper, later dubbed D.B. Cooper by the media, hijacked a plane on the way from Portland to Seattle, Washington. After collecting a two hundred thousand dollar ransom, he jumps out of a Boeing 727 at ten thousand feet into a rainstorm never to be seen again.
