The Rams began the 2023 season on a high note, beating the Seahawks at home by a wide margin. We had high hopes for the Rams home opener vs. the 49ers at SoFi Stadium and were hoping they'd shock everyone. At halftime the teams were tied at 17! Things started to fall apart in the second half after an interception, although the Rams hung in there and only lost by 7. Even though it seemed to be a winnable game, I wasn't even that disappointed with our very young team. Best of all, even though the stadium was full of 49er fans, those around us were pretty well behaved and there were no issues.
