Jordan Israel Embassy Protest: Thousands of Jordanians continue protests near Israeli embassy

Several thousand demonstrators flocked to locations close to the Israeli embassy in Amman on Tuesday, the third day in a row, for an event that activists call the siege of the embassy, in response to the Israeli war on Gaza.

Jordanian security forces dispersed the angry demonstrators and arrested a number of them, including at least one woman.

The demonstrators are demanding that the Jordanian government stops all forms of normalization with Israel and cancels all agreements, most notably the Wadi Araba Jordan-Israel peace treaty.

Activists are also demanding an end to the land bridge that transports goods from Gulf countries into Israel.
