The original spider-man movie symbiote faceshell that you see in the beginning of the video is 3D scanned, and then digitally re-shaped into a 3D-printable face shell design.

The black fabric is screen printed and provided with a raised ink brick pattern design that reflects light, creating a stunningly dynamic lighting effect. The webs are CNC milled and casted from urethane. The sides of the spiderman webs are painted by hand to create a 3D raised webbing effect. The webs are glued onto the fabric using Loctite 4861, which is a super flexible super glue.
