We pulled up to the AFL Academy’s first game of the year and it DID NOT dissapoint. The AFL Academy is the best 22 players under 18 in the country. The lads put in a good effort, but couldn’t match the size of Coburg VFL. Sandringham’s Luke Trainor was named best on with a DOMINANT performance through the backline. Josh Smillie, Levi Ashcroft, Leo Lombard and Harry O’Farrell stood out for the Aus U18’s.
