Indians have started keeping langurs as pets to chase away Macaques: Langur makes faces at cameraman

This Langur monkey was kept as a hostage to be used as inentured labour to chase awat Rhesus Macaque bandars that come and do damage at farmhouses in South Delhi. The smart Langur ran off and sought shelter at the wildfilmsindia Orchard. We welcomed him, fed him and slowly made him confident around us, and in our safe environs. So far, he has not left us! Now we must somehow get to take off his horrible collar and leash which his captors had put on to him. He is seen here helping himself to fruit on trees.
