The small Isles, on the Scottish Highlands west coast are a classic UK sea kayaking destination.
Consisting of five Islands, Canna, Sanday, Rum, Eigg & Muck all of which have exposed rugged coast line, beautiful camping spots with amazing views.
These island are fully exposed to weather systems and have strong tides around the points and between the islands, so careful planning and settled weather are required for a successful trip
This video, along with part two, is the story of my first trip out there in 2023 when we paddled round Rum, Sanday & Canna and also visited Eigg
