To Sir, with Love by Lulu is featured in Journey, the twenty-second and final episode of Season One. It is sung by the New Directions, with solos from Artie, Finn, Kurt, Mercedes, Rachel, Santana and Tina.

As the members of New Directions are still coming to terms with the fact that the club has been cancelled, this song is sung as a thank you to Mr. Schuester, showing that they can all change from their previous ways. Everyone was very emotional during the performance, either crying or very close to tears. Sue is seen watching the performance at the entrance of the April Rhodes Civic Pavilion.
