EP 5 Bacheli to chitrakote | Iron ore mine | Jagdalpur, Kosa Silk Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh is a mineral rich state, so we decided to start the day by visiting iron ore mine at Bacheli, Dantewada district.

This particular day's journey was done by us on 11th feb 2022.

After this we went to Maa Danteshwari Temple and saw the confluence of two rivers that are Dankani and Shankani river.

Shri Baba Bhairav Dev Temple – it is located at walking distnace from Maa Danteshwari temple.

Chhattisgarh local food which was about 1 km far from the Maa Danteshwari Temple.

After the food we traveled toward the Kumar Para, Jagdalpur. Here we visited a Bastar Kosa shop and saw a variety of sarees and clothes from Bastar.

We also visited the Jagdalpur street food market, Here we saw many food stalls and people enjoying the street food. The Chhattisgarh Tourism office was also here so we visited the office and gathered some information regarding Chhattisgarh.

Beside the Chhattisgarh Tourism there was a shop named as Tribe India in which we saw many beautiful paintings, statues, even local food items and many more interesting stuffs related to local Chhattisgarh cultures.

Dalpat sagar lake – This is a beautiful lake located in the heart of the city.

At the end of the day we visited a local Tribe Festival and back to our hotel which was in Chitrakote.
