I decided to upgrade the rims and tires on the trailer to HMMWV rims and tires. To do so without changing the axle or hubs, I ordered the HMMWV rims with M37 adapter plates from the MVParts Store. The 2 rims with adapters cost less than $700 (that includes shipping). I did not want 37" HMMWV tires for the trailer. I am putting either 33" or 35" tires on the Jeep. Fortunately, I found some 16.5" trailer tires on FB marketplace. With the 2.5" lift on the Jeep and a 33" tire, the trailer should sit level when connected to the Jeep.
