Derrick White is the best shot blocking guard in the NBA, and one of the league's premier perimeter defenders. He may receive the underrated tag more than any other player in the league, but however he's rated, one thing is for sure: he makes the correct play almost every single time.

He is a complete defensive player, and he shows it in every game he plays. Interrupting passing lanes, antagonizing ballhandlers at the point of attack, protecting the rim, White does it all. And he's mastered the art of the chase down block.

The Boston Celtics have one of the best defenses in the NBA, and White leads the team in Defensive EPM. He made an All-Defensive Team last season, and he has a strong chance to make another one this season.
