Better Engine Building: Does Plastigauge Work? (Testing Against "Real" Engine Builder's Tools)

Plastigauge sometimes gets a bad rap, and I've always wondered just how accurate it is when checking bearing clearances. So I thought I'd test it once and for all against real engine builder's tools.
