Super Mario Bros. 2 - Overworld Theme Remix [with

Thank you for watching! When you think of iconic tunes from the Mario series, there's a good chance that this one comes to mind, having been featured in both the Super Mario Bros. cartoon and various games throughout the years. This dual remix incorporates the Player Select theme, as well, and we hope you'll find it to be a fun and nostalgic musical adventure!

When Mattip and I first began this project, we intended to create an electro swing-styled rendition, and it evolved over time to also include ragtime and jazz elements. Mattip handled most of the percussive elements, and he added some critical layers to the melody for extra pop and texture. I really enjoyed working on the arrangement and instrumentation, and we both had fun sprinkling in a few sound effects, as well!

It was both an honor and a delight to work with @Mattip_Music on this remix, and I really can't say enough about the guy - he's a talented young producer with superb energy and a great personality! Mattip has been quite busy this year with various collaborations, and I'm happy to have been involved with one of them!
