In Kafka's "Castle", K is alone when he arrived in that village because he does belong neither to the castle nor village. Life is never about black and white. K created his own world, a place on the rim of the world to find his true meaning of life. The feeling of running away and looking for something at the same time. Ambiguous, amorphous.

As for me, I am not running away or looking for anything here in the Black Forest. Maybe one day, I'm not sure when, but what will be, will be. Someday I will leave everything behind to live in the woods. And now, it's just a moment of chasing the shadow of the Black Forest.
