2-Minute Tour: University at Buffalo North Campus

Curious about UB's North Campus? In two minutes, we take you on a tour of North Campus. We show buildings where you'll have classes, a residence hall, our colorful new crosswalk and other favorite destinations (like the on-campus Starbucks)! READ ON TO LEARN ABOUT THE BUILDINGS IN THE VIDEO:

Hochstetter & Cooke Hall: Tall hexagonal buildings that have labs, faculty research offices, and lecture halls. Home to the biology and geological sciences departments.

Natural Sciences Complex: Lecture halls, classrooms, and more than 125 active laboratories!

Park Hall: If you're a student in the College of Arts and Sciences, you may find yourself here. Park houses several of the college's programs, research labs and classrooms.

Norton Hall: Right on the Academic Spine, and a fast route to get to Knox and Capen Halls.

Knox Lecture Hall: Ready for class? Many of UB's larger lecture-style courses, like psych and chemistry, are held here.

O’Brian Hall: Home to UB's School of Law. UB recently added an Law BA, making it one of only two programs of this kind in the nation. If you come to UB to study law, you may take classes in O'Brian. (The law library is also a popular silent study destination.)

Baldy Hall: Centrally located on the spine, Baldy contains many classrooms for the Graduate School of Education, the College, and the School of Social Work.

Bell & Furnas Halls: Engineering buildings on the other side of the spine.

Student Union: There's never a dull moment inside the Student Union. On any given day, you'll see students playing ping pong, watching TV, grabbing food (the pasta at Pistatchio's is a big favorite) or working hard in their student club offices.

Lockwood Library: UB's largest library, Lockwood offers an extensive literature collection for students and faculty.
Study cubbies, large tables and computers make it easy to get work done here.

Clemens Hall: Named after Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens), Clemens is UB's tallest building. College of Arts and Sciences students take classes here.

Center For the Arts: The place for art classes, film studios, performances and shows. There's also an underground tunnel into Alumni Hall...so you don't have to go outside in winter. :)
Capen Hall: Capen Hall is the heart of UB's North Campus, with many important destinations like 1Capen (essential student services), Silverman Library, the Honors College and much, much more.

Fronczak Hall: Studying physics or economics? You'll find yourself in Fronczak. This building connects to the NSC you saw before.

Davis Hall: Dedicated solely to the School of Engineering, Davis Hall offers state-of-the-art research spaces, labs, offices and classrooms.

Greiner Hall: UB's newest residence hall, reserved just for sophomores.

Ellicott Complex: If you plan to live on campus freshman year, you may get a room in the Ellicott Complex.
