Congress to end Amethi and Raebareilly suspense, to announce candidates in 'next 24-30 hours'

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh addressed a press conference on May 1. While addressing the press conference the Congress leader clarified that the Mallikarjun Kharge will declare candidates for Amethi and Raebareli Lok Sabha seats. He further added that until the official announcement, all the rumors were fake. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, "...Congress Central Election Committee has empowered the party President to declare candidates for Amethi and Rae Bareilly seats. In the next 24-30 hours, the Congress President will finalize the candidates, and his decision will be announced formally. Till that is done, all information, tickers, and office orders are all fake."
