Ulysses’ story beings in Dry Wells, Arizona, where his tribe The Twisted Hairs encountered Caesar, but unlike the other tribes that were assimilated or eradicated, The Twisted Hairs managed to strike a deal with The Legion and became their scouts, with Ulysses becoming one of the greatest scouts to ever bless The Bull, travelling distances other scouts could only ever dream of.
