QUESO de BOLA! 🎄🔴🧀

It’s the Christmas season 🎄🔴🧀 and it’s time for Queso de Bola! The ball of Edam cheese wrapped in festive red packaging. It’s a traditional Filipino food yet originated from the Netherlands. 

We like to slice it and eat it as is with fresh baked Egg Pan de Sal from Valerio V Family Bake Shop in East Hollywood and SkyFlakes crackers. We think the thicker the cheese slices the better and if you quickly heat a bread and cheese sandwich in the microwave for 10 to 20 seconds - the warmth of the Pan de Sal with melty cheese is pull apart ready for small delectable bites.
