Tony Lovello was the third quarter winner for the year 1955. Each show saluted a city in the Mid-West, and this show took place in Bloomington, Indiana. Tony's performance was an Italian medley consisting of the songs "Funiculì, Funiculà", "Torna a Sorrento" (Come Back to Sorrento), and "Oh Marie". Tony was known as the Liberace of the accordion. Another interesting fact is that Tony is the brother of Sam Lovullo, who was the producer and casting director of the television show Hee Haw (1969).
