In a lopsided fight vs Jaime Munguia. Canelo seemed to be schooling the young bull at will. At times, it seemed like Canelo was carrying Jaume Munguia... making sure he lasted 12 rounds.

There was one sequence in the 12the round where Canelo caught Munguia with an uppercut and grabbed him... holding him up to keep from falling. It was at this moment, I realized that Canelo intentionally allowed Munguia to co-exist so to speak in the ring.

Munguia fought valiantly. But his lack of defense was the reason why he lost this fight so convincingly. After the fight. Canelo was seen communicating with David Benavidez in the audience.

There were also police officers standing near ringside. making sure no one climbed into the ring. I guess the extra security was there to prevent a face off with the undisputed champion... Saul Canelo Alvarez.
