On 10th April 2024, the SC shouted at the Uttarakhand government authorities, "We will rip you apart", for their lack of action against Patanjali when it produced misleading ads for the consumers. Some people were happy that the Govt and Patanjali were finally being shown their place for how its ads fooled Indians. But others like Arnab Goswami immediately asked why the SC is shouting at Patanjali so much and not other FMCG brands like Pepsi, who also show misleading ads. What those people don't realise is that of course we should also criticise every company. However, the strictest punishment should be reserved for those who, during India's toughest medical crisis where, claim that their Ayurvedic medicine can cure people from COVID-19.
