Château Shop & Garage Renovation Part 2 | Queen's Escape

In this episode, we take you through the second part of our château shop and garage renovation in 2023 & 2024. Early July, we had the new concrete floor made. Then we had the floor painted with epoxy on the entire floor surface. In the late summer it was time to create the workshop counter, and hang up all the tools. Later the good old horse stall doors were removed, and so were the hinges. The design of the cozy area started taking shape, and a couch and a table was added. Finally, after months of waiting, the new door was installed to finish the project. This is the second part of the Château Shop & Garage Renovation. Enjoy the show.

Queen's Escape was inspired by the 4 years the Belgian royal family stayed at Château de La Tuilerie during WWII. In particular, it is for the Queen. The king took shelter at a different location in France. We've named each of our guest rooms after great Queens of the past and present from around the world. Margrethe, Eleanor, Catherine, Himiko, Cleopatra, and soon our bridal suite will be ready in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.
