Happy Black Rhino Rolls Around in the Mud | Wildlife in 360 VR

Описание к видео Happy Black Rhino Rolls Around in the Mud | Wildlife in 360 VR

A black rhinoceros gets a thorough coating of mud at a wallow site in Kenya. Rhinos wallow for many reasons. This behavior primarily helps keep the animal cool and protects the skin from sun and parasites.

Like the individual seen here, adult black rhinos are typically solitary animals and only gather to mate. Once a female black rhino becomes pregnant she will gestate for 15 months. After the calf’s birth, it will remain with the mother for a period of up to two years before moving off alone.

Filmed in 5K 360.
