New Panama Canal. Last chamber of 3 Locks. Aqua Clara was Completed 2016. LCS Littoral Combat Ship entering the first lock behind the Caribbean Princess cruise ship we are on!

The gates close, water fills up from Reservoirs and raises ships up to the next lock. Tug Boats guide ships into all locks and keep them in the middle of the lock!

Did you know that the Pacific Ocean is several feet/meters in sea level, than the Atlantic. Cool Locks that are like stairs!
