Into the Breach: 30k Perfect Victory Hard (Rusting Hulks)

Into the Breach Hard Mode Victory with Perfect 30k Score using Rusting Hulks!

This is a perfect victory on Hard using the Rusting Hulks. Some specifics:

- 30k score (no grid damage)
- All objectives complete
- No pilot or mech deaths
- No grid resists
- Rusting Hulk squad
- 1hr 40min run time, about 10 minutes faster than I did with Rift Walkers

The Rusting Hulks are a very powerful squad, in my opinion, and one of the easiest to pull off a Hard victory with. This is due to a combination of a very powerful starting unit with the Rocket Mech, a high-mobility flying unit, and a defensive unit that takes very little to upgrade. Excellent pilot choices with the Rusting Hulks are Camila and Prospero. Camila is a great candidate in the Jet, as its high mobility and her inability to get incapacitated by smoke or webbing means she's virtually always going to be able to stun a Vek or move to block every turn. Prospero is a fantastic pilot for the Pulse Mech, as adding flying to the Pulse Mech adds a lot of mobility to it along with making crucial pushes easier to pull off, or shielding otherwise unavailable buildings. Top it off with the Rocket Mech, with a powerful 2-damage at start upgradeable pushing artillery shot, and the only arty unit that can easily engage two opponents at once with its rear smoke vents.
