Notching and Backcutting

This video covers the techniques used to fell trees safely and features professional demonstrations of the key steps involved. It examines three parts of a proper felling cuet -- the notch, the backcut and the hinge -- and explains the roles of each. It also looks at hazards commonly found on the felling site and shows how to deal with them safely.
