DIY solar project 2023 - worth it in the UK???

I install a 3.3kW solar PV array to my garden shed!

Using @TrinasolarPV 415W panels combined with a Solis Inverter and Tigo Optomisers.

If you house roof does not have space for solar panels have you considered a garden structure?

This was challenging conditions in terms of shading, angle, height restrictions and working safely! We erected our own safety platform to the rear and sides with a tower to the front. Not ideal but as a DIY project at 2m height I was happy with it. Safety first though!

Showing the Milwaukee Torque wrench and impact wrench for the panel mounts. Gives confidence fastenings are done up correctly.

This system will now support our existing arrays and allow for some fun experiments and testing videos!
