Psychonauts 2 is here and after writing it off, I previewed it around a month ago. At that time, I found myself reading the game entirely wrong and finding something much more endearing. The question is... would that hold up in a full game? Not only that, but a game as meaty as this 3D platformer is? The answer is yes! Psychonauts 2 strikes at the right time and shows you can have a meaningful story without the depressing aura engulfing it.
