She didn't remember her own dad, as the day she was born he kicked her and her mom out of the house. The reason was obvious –the baby was black, while both her parents were white.

The saddest part was that her dad refused to take a DNA test or even bother to look into his heritage. After that, the girl and her mom were forced to live in hotels. They had a very hard time, but her mom did everything in her power to provide for her child.
