One of the most impressive Raj-era palace in Gujarat, the palace has beautiful mosaics, chandeliers and artworks, as well as a highly impressive collection of weaponry and art. Paintings by the famous artist, Raja Ravi Verma who was specially commissioned by the then Maharaja of Baroda, adorn the palace. Radhikaraje Gaekwad took Saurabh Dwivedi on a tour of the royal palace of the Gaekwads, and narrated stories from history of the palace, the Gaekwad family, important personalities who have visited the palace, and much more.
