Evil, hat-wearing, mysterious, cruel and sadistic tricksters con-men associated with demonics that have an affinity for deal-making wherein they basically scam people by promising them good fortune and then twist it in ironic ways towards them. They similarly put up gentlemanly, charismatic and charming personas despite being deeply selfish and greedy beings to manipulate people into working into their plans. Both have infamous and feared reputations and notable monikers (Shadowman and The River King), if you go by implication of Facilier needing souls to pay his friends on other side that can be comparable to Kench feeding on emotions. Both also have a Louisiana Accent and Tahm Kench is the exact type of demon Facilier would make a deal with (Facilier's death involving him getting devoured by demonic entities he is involved with due to being unable to pay them back and Tahm Kench usually straight up eating away those that made a deal with him as his part of the deal).
