Data Vault 2.0 – A Method of Business Intelligence

Data Vault 2.0 is a system of Business Intelligence developed by Dan Linstedt that is composed of three pillars: architecture, modelling and methodology. This session will provide a high-level overview of Data Vault 2.0 as a system of BI, with a particular focus on the Data Vault model itself and the benefits it can provide. No prior familiarity with Data Vault is necessary to understand the core concepts that will be reviewed.

Ashley Day - Operations Analyst, Baker Tilly Digital

Ashley Day is an Operations Analyst at Baker Tilly who has spent the last 7 years working in the realm of Business Intelligence. She has worked with both on-prem and cloud-based solutions and has a particular interest in data engineering. She spent the last few years working as a consultant in client facing roles, but recently transitioned to an internal role to promote BI initiatives and best practices within the firm she works for. She has a passion for learning and sharing that knowledge with others. Ashley recently received her Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner certification after attending a four-day seminar on the topic.
