Since Russia invaded Ukraine a year ago, foreign volunteers have been pouring into the country to help the Ukrainians resist the Russians.

Kyiv has gotten a lot of weapons from NATO countries, but Ukraine's forces also need basic stuff like personal protective equipment or training for soldiers. The volunteers do whatever's needed.

GZERO caught up with two members of Ukraine's international legion. One of them is a former bike messenger from Germany who now operates drones. We also met an American who helps crowdsource funding from Europe.

It's not an easy life. What's more, they know they could end up dying — and say they are ready for it.
