Habitat for Humanity Tonga | EP.2 | Building with the TIST students

Once our team had seen the utter devastation of Tonga after the events of January 2022, they were eager to utilise their skills and get building.

Today you’ll see the students from TIST work alongside our Habitat team, to build and erect frames for the new homes.

There was an enormous amount of knowledge and skills imparted, teaching the students new systems and processes to enable the homes to be built with more resilience and efficiency.

The knowledge imparted was very much reciprocal too. Our team ended up walking away in awe of how hard the Tongan students work...
