Messeschmitt Bf 109 G-2 Black 6. Damaged on it`s last planned flight before transfer to the RAF Museum Hendon.
In a crash landing following a display at Duxford’s’ Autumn Air Show.
Pilot, Air Chief Marshal Sir John Allison, unhurt.
This was the aircraft’s last flight; over 3 1/2 seasons of display it had
amassed some 96 flying hours.
