The memory of falling ill inside the van on my way to the train station bound for Vientiane is etched vividly in my mind. Nonetheless, Laos remains one of the most tranquil countries I've ever visited. The sight of lush green trees crowning the mountaintops was simply surreal, utterly breathtaking! I am immensely grateful to the lady beside me who took care of me while I was unwell, vomiting my breakfast in the chilly air. Her kindness meant the world to me. The extraordinary kindness and empathy of the Laotian people left an enduring impression on me. I also remember the moment I found myself in tears alone in my hotel room and waited outside the closed Wattay Airport for several hours, unable to sleep. Despite these challenges, I'm grateful for the friends I made during my journey through this remarkable country. Exploring the vibrant night market and visiting the iconic Patuxai Victory Monument were truly unforgettable experiences!
