In Crimea, temporarily occupied by the Russians, conscripts disappeared - one young man from Dagestan, and two more from North Ossetia.
The incident occurred on April 30 - the invaders went out to the open sea in a rubber boat, despite the fact that there was a strong wind, BRIEF reports on Telegram, citing information from the head of North Ossetia Sergei Menyailo. According to him, colleagues saw the conscripts going out to sea and contacted rescuers. Searches were later carried out, but they did not yield anything.
Conscripts from Crimea could drown or surrender to soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes the Kremlin Snuffbox channel, citing information from a source in the Russian Navy.
“Drones were involved in the search, but the weather did not allow us to fully assess the perimeter and find the missing. The interlocutors hint that the missing either surrendered or drowned,” the report notes. The Russian army is in great need of conscripts.
UK intelligence has revealed how many contract soldiers Russia plans to recruit in 2024 and how it uses conscripts.
