The Top 10 in the Impossible Levels List contains some of the best impossible levels ever made, and depending on your taste, some of the best levels ever made, period. After Tax Evasion topped CYCLOLCYC as the hardest impossible level, the ILL has received a rapid influx of new top levels — so much so, that 3 new levels have been added to the Top 10 in just the past 2 weeks.

People choose to make these incredibly hard impossible levels as a way to express creative freedom, or get their creations shown to the world without the necessity of a verifier, or simply, to test the game's limits. 1. Tax Evasion by skubb — An incredibly unique rebirth to Mute Evasion by Aeqing1, being the first major introduction of some of today's most famous gameplay mechanics — mainly, the infamous desynced dual set-up. Botted by @Locked101.

2. CYCLOLCYC by eightos — An incredible XXL level, sequel to Ballistic Wistfully, that takes you on a journey through an alien world. CYCLOLCYC features unorthodox decoration and gameplay mechanics, and unprecedented difficulty for the time of its creation. Botted by @Locked101.

3. Lunar Empress by TenDart — An elegant yet extremely difficult show of TenDart's hosting and creating skills. This is the easiest Top 5 to bot, by far. Botted by @tendart7339.

4. Domba by adaf — The final entry to the Sweet Rush series, composed of two 6-star levels made by the same creator, and Domba. A testament to the limits of difficulty in a Geometry Dash level. Macro by @adaf3003.

5. Formosa by eightos — Formosa presents the viewer with unmatched atmosphere for its minimalistic decoration, and for this reason, it is many people's favorite level ever made. Botted by @Locked101.

6. Ballistic Wistfully by eightos — Ballistic Wistfully's amateurish visuals only help to build its atmosphere — as you watch this level, you can tell something is off. Reigned the list for a quite long time. Botted by @Locked101.

7. METH DEATH X by AuraXalaiv and Erzor — Prevalent Nine Circles styled 2.0 level by Aura and Erzor, that uses pulses to its advantage in a way never seen before in a Nine Circles level. METH DEATH X evolves as you play it, and represents the song in ways previously unseen for old Nine Circles styled levels. Botted by @yawdx.

8. arcturus unnerfed by maxfs — Widely known for its possible version, Arcturus once was a well-known impossible level. Its unnerfed version is orders of magnitude more difficult, being only possible with FPS values in the thousands. This version captures Arcturus' ideal atmosphere even better, due to its menacing gameplay. Botted by @Locked101.

9. RAIN by Skyee — Skye's most famous level, and even though it's definitely not one of her best, it is still an amazing level that introduced some never before gameplay mechanics for an impossible level. Originally meant to be Top 1 difficulty. Botted by @Locked101.

10. Singularity by 070 — At first, Singularity might seem like an extremely easy level. However, as you play it, it exponentially gets harder and harder — up to inhuman levels, at around 60%, and some of the hardest impossible gameplay by the end. This level is themed around technological singularity. Botted by Zodiac.
