The truck drivers' national shutdown has been suspended.
The All African Truck Drivers Forum and Allied South Africa says the suspension follows an urgent meeting with relevant stakeholders.
Truck drivers and general workers at distribution company SG Convenience was expected to embark on a strike action today.
About 700 workers were set to down tools in Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng over wages.
