A "Scientific Analysis" of Return of the Obra Dinn

This video assumes you have already discovered the fate of the Obra Dinn for yourself. If this is not the case, then please refrain from watching until you have played Return of the Obra Dinn. It's not a particularly long game, and if you enjoy clever investigations then it will be well worth your time.

I played through the game again recently, but I was surprised to find that a lot of my questions didn't have good answers online. I set about to do my own thorough investigation, and this video is the unintended result. I am really quite shocked at how little of what I mention appears in most other people's discussions of the game. Or, perhaps I'm just looking into it all too much. Either way, the fact that the game holds up under this level of scrutiny is truly wonderful. Thank you, Lucas Pope!
