This project was conceptualized more on a whim. I was on my way back from class, it was around time for sunset, and I happened to have my camera with me. I looked around and for some reason, this stop sign just caught my attention. So I shot video of it for a few minutes. Then I saw the lamppost glistening beneath the shadow of nearby tree branches. I kept walking and came upon the new streetlights on the Pardall Rd intersection. So I kept rolling. It took a while to put the footage together in a way I liked. I ended up adding stock footage and scenes from vintage films. There's no hiding that Twin Peaks was a huge inspiration for this video, after all I had just finished watching the first two seasons. Creepy vibes, and smooth music, is all there is.
