[TAS] Death of the A13-Race overwall... or is it?

Описание к видео [TAS] Death of the A13-Race overwall... or is it?

A couple weeks ago, I started playing around with TAS on A13. I was curious to see how early it's possible to overwall on A13. It's known that pablogd does a very early overwall compared to the "traditional" spot, used by Link, Wirtual, and others. After some bruteforce testing, it became clear to me that there was a lot more potential than anyone thought.

So I decided to TAS the whole run. Link sent me his best 180 turn, and I improved this using bruteforce. I started from Pablo's overwall spot. With this it was possible to achieve a time of 27.4x (possibly .3x), which is already impressive enough. Since it's a less risky spot (you don't need to fly as far), it would be a good spot to use if you are intending to try and get the WR with the overwall. However, seeing how far the car can fly over the wall on that run, it was obvious that you can overwall from much earlier.

So I then tried the spot that was used for this TAS, earlier than any of the Top 10. After hundreds of iterations, I struck gold, and got this amazing .18 overwall, which kept itself really low over the wall, but just high enough to reach the platform. I couldn't believe it. Bruteforce did some really weird stuff during the overwall, and slight deviations of any of these weird inputs will lead to an absolute failure. However, I did my overwall attempts (mostly) manually, so there is a chance...

It's possible to fly much higher/further on the overwall than this run. So I did actually try to overwall even earlier (slightly before the previous "TM" sign). It is in fact possible (just), but it was necessary to drive/hang on the wall a little bit longer, and perhaps a bit too much airtime. The resulting time was just a little bit slower than this run (~27.2x). So it's definitely not worth it.

Perhaps a little bit more can be saved here and there, but honestly I would doubt that .0x is possible on this map (without more tricks being found).

Do you think more is possible with the Alexey cut? Can 26.xx be done? At first I thought yes, perhaps by ubering to a direct fin. But now I'm not so sure. For now, overwall is the fastest way (but Alexey's cut is waaaaay easier and much more fun, so there's no way in hell I expect to see WR with overwall ever again).
